We've been in your shoes, we know that starting a course or qualification can be a very daunting time, and the nerves and excitement will all be bundled up together. Here at the OU Students Association, we want to help you to make starting out with your studies a little bit easier. There is a wonderful, and hugely supportive community just waiting to welcome you, and loads of great stuff to get involved in.

We know you’re probably overwhelmed with information at the moment, but if you can find some time, there's lots of great resources, videos and info on this site, so look around and get involved.

First thing’s first, follow these five steps to meet other students:
