The Library Listens!

The OU Library actively seeks your feedback to develop services and resources to ensure we are student-focused and meet the needs of the OU community and beyond. We regularly use data from surveys like the National Student Survey as well as work with our Library Student Panel to improve existing services and resources and to develop new ones. We also learn a lot about the student experience during our Student Shadowing days.

Examples of the types of research activity include website usability testing, telephone interviews, online surveys and forums. Some recent projects include:

  • Using student feedback to improve Library Search
  • Redesign of the Library website to make it easier to use
  • Offering Post-graduate research training

We welcome all your comments about the wide range of Library services as your views are a key part of the discussions about developing services for the future and ensuring the best possible services for today. Your experience matters to us!
