Visiting the Open University Library at Milton Keynes? Temporary Disruption

Exterior of Library buildingThe Library are embarking on a building renovation project based on feedback received from regular visitors to the Milton Keynes campus. Based on what you told us, we are about to commence work to increase collaborative working and private study spaces; and redesign the ground floor to introduce a new amphitheatre and interactive learning zone.

Inevitably, there will be some temporary disruption over the forthcoming months to accommodate these improvements.

The print books and quiet study area will be unavailable to customers from June 10th for a maximum of two weeks.

Alternative study spaces will be available on the second floor, but this will be limited and subject to noise disruption.

You will be unable to access books during this period. We recommend you borrow any books you need before June 10th. If you can, please delay returning books until after June 24th. Document delivery items will not be impacted and can be borrowed and returned as usual.

We apologise for the inconvenience in advance and we thank you for your support and understanding.
