Celebrate Mole Day with the OU Digital Archive!

[[[image-0 medium right]]] From 6.02am to 6.02pm today (October 23rd) we celebrate Mole Day!

Rather than being a celebration of the small subterranean mammal, the date of Mole Day, when written in the American dating style - commemorates Avogrado’s number - 6.02 × 1023 – which defines the number of particles in one mole of substance.

Mole Day is celebrated across the world with various activities – which are either chemistry or Mole related – or both! You can get your science fix with this collection of classic clips from S100 - the first OU Science course in the early 1970s.
