Are you a researcher or a research student?

[[[image-0 medium right]]]Increasingly, researchers are expected to publish their research and scholarship outputs by open access to satisfy the requirements of the researcher funders in the UK and abroad.  The Research Support team in the Library provides research students with access and support for a number of specialist systems that enable researchers to easily manage their research data, publish their results and to maintain their public profile.

  • Increase the visibility of your research publications by adding them to ORO Open Research Online  -  the OU’s research publications repository
  • Sign up with ORCID  Open Researcher and Contributor ID -  a system that provides unique identifiers for researchers to ensure you get credit for your work and save time managing your information
  • Publish your research data in ORDO Open Research Data Online (ORDO) - the OU’s research data repository, to get a citable permanent web link for your data; share live research data using ORDO’s collaborative workspaces

You can learn more about the services that the Library offers researchers and keep up-to-date with regular news, information and updates via The Orb, the OU Library's resesearch support blog.
