Home Services for you Beta tools

We are constantly seeking ways to improve the services we offer you by exploring new technologies, techniques and tools. Some of these innovations enable you to search or access Library resources without coming via this website. For instance widgets and toolbars which can be used with your desktop or browser. Others, such as new search tools, are intended to make it easier to find the resources you're looking for via this site or via your module website.

The experimental tools listed below are still under development. They are available for you to try out so that you can tell us what you think and help us ensure that what we build meets your needs.

The Library Helpdesk will not be able to support these experimental tools.

My Recent Resources This tool provides a list of library resources you have recently accessed. The last 100 resources you have clicked on through the library (desktop or mobile) are included. Your list will only be visible to you when you are logged in. If you are not logged in you will just see a demonstration list of resources. TIP: Log in at the top of this page before clicking the My Recent Resources link if you want to see your personal list of resources.
Bookmark resourcesIf you prefer to search for online resources without coming through the library website this bookmarklet will help you log in to publisher websites using your OU username and password. It will also add the resource to your "Recent resources" list.
Search all Library ResourcesSearch all library resources from a single search box. You can use it to find articles, ebooks, journals, databases and lists of selected resources by topic.
