Assessing the reliability of information for your assignment

How do I attend?

Go to  Assessing the reliability of information for your assignment and select 'Join Room' located at the bottom of the page. The room remains closed until the trainer has entered - this will usually be 15 minutes before the start time.

Benefits

Evaluating the reliability and suitability of information is an integral part of writing in Higher Education, as well as of everyday life outside the University. In this 45 minute interactive session we will explore how to evaluate information using a framework and why it is important to look critically at information sources we may find on the web.

Who's it for?

This session is suitable for anyone with an interest in developing evaluation techniques for critically looking at information.

By the end of this session you should be able to:
