How do I search for electronic books?
The OU Library provides access to thousands of ebooks.
You can see a selection of ebooks on the
Selected resources for your study page. Select your broad subject heading and then select a more precise heading that corresponds with your topic, choose ebooks.
To search across a wider selection of the OU Library's ebook collection, go to the
ebooks page and put the title or subject in the top search box on this page. The Library does not catalogue all available ebooks so you may want to browse or search individual collections from the list of ebook providers on this page.
To search across individual collections of ebooks, go to the bottom of the ebooks page and search one of the Electronic book providers (click on the collection title to select). Each one has a short description of the kind of books and subjects covered within the collection. Enter your Open University Computer User name and password when prompted.
See the
How do I use ebooks page for help using ebooks.
If the book you want is not available electronically, and you are not able to visit the OU Library in person to use the print collection, you may need to use
libraries near you to access it.
