Interests in Life Long Learning
main research interests are in older peoples learning, education and training; and in methods of understanding adults learning styles

currently researching older peoples choices and experiences of lifelong learning funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) under its Growing Older: Extending Quality Life Programme

working with colleagues in Scandinavia on an EU-funded project on the training of older workers
