Join The Open University for cake and conversation as we celebrate our 50th anniversary as part of Culture Night Belfast!

Through video, photography and people, we will explore the OU's innovative history of teaching and learning and how we have made the impossible possible for over two million people who have transformed their lives through education!

The event will be interactive and thought-provoking as we show a short video about the OU's journey over the past 50 years and the impact it has had, helping people rediscover their love for learning and allowing them to fulfil their potential.

The video will be followed by informal conversation with a dynamic panel of speakers including the OU's Professor of Gender and Technology, Clem Herman. We will also be joined by some of our inspirational students, each with a unique story to tell about how the OU is helping them to make their mark on the world today.

Cutting of our birthday cake and celebrations begin at 6.00pm!

*Booking is not essential but it would be great if you could register so we can make sure there is enough food and drink for everyone!
