Social networking for practice learning

Social networking project poster pictureExploring the use of social networking tools for teaching and staff development

The first phase of the Social Networking for Practice Learning project  was agreed for funding by PBPL in March 2008. A second phase was funded beginning in approximately January 2009 and completing in December 2009.

This project aimed to develop Associate Lecturer (AL) skills in using social networking for their own learning and knowledge management and to explore the potential of social networking for student learning in each faculty.  There was also an aim to explore social networking tools as a means for creating an ongoing group of ALs who learned to use the tools and network with each other.
