Description

Those designing practice-based educational experiences need an understanding of the dynamics of practice in order to respond to the learning needs of practitioners. To this end, this report explores the way in which English paraprofessionals in health and social care incorporate 'use of self' in the collective construction of caring practice within their workplaces and through education. This construction of caring practice is framed as a learning process that involves the negotiation between personal agency and social agency.
This is the final report of the Understanding paraprofessional learning project.
