This presentation is about the huge impact that becoming an OU student can have on personal lives, and the consequences of that impact not only for the student but for their family. Learning is personal, it involves challenge and change and sometimes that change is not welcomed – these factors can have a profound effect on personal achievement for the students, and thus retention for the OU.
