Spotlight on... the LabSpace
In OpenLearn you are able to download and amend The Open University materials under the conditions of our flexible Creative Commons license. If you want to upload your changes you can do this in the LabSpace. Become an author and share your version of a study unit with the world, like this science study unit translated into Catalan by a teacher in Spain! You can also publish your own educational materials in the Collaborations area of the LabSpace.
The LabSpace area also provides many more study units than the LearningSpace. In some instances these extra study units are incomplete or material from older Open University courses - unlike the LearningSpace materials which are complete learning experiences taken from current Open University courses - but the Labspace materials can be useful resources, particularly for people working in education. For an example, see one of the latest LabSpace units, Opening Teaching Toolkit: Effective Tutorials.
* Don't forget, to take part in many OpenLearn activities registered users will need to be logged in. Non-registered users will need to register. Registration is completely free and makes no future requirements of you. You can find out more information on the Getting Started page.
