Introduction
— We are currently updating our strategy to 2015 —
OU Futures 2010-13 sets down the University’s strategic ambitions for the next three to four years. The mission forms the bedrock of the strategy. A revised set of core values has been created. The overall strategic intent is to adapt and strengthen the University in order to sustain the OU mission.
The strategy will be realised in three overlapping phases.
- The objective of Phase One is to improve effectiveness, reduce cost and strengthen competitiveness.
- The aim of Phase Two is to identify and exploit new opportunities within existing markets.
- And the intention of Phase Three is to identify and enter new markets in order to grow income.
Each phase contains one or more Focus Areas which concentrate effort and resources on strategic priorities which are critical to the achievement of our plans.
