This database is a working research tool that has been created over a number of years by several individuals, and there may be inconsistencies in how data has been entered. Please also note that the list of sources cited for the more famous chemists is by no means exhaustive. Once we had collected sufficient data on an individual for our purposes, we did not investigate further.
