The International Advisory Board (IAB) is advisory to the Dean of the Open University Business School, to the School Executive Team and the wider University. The board currently consists of 7 members, representing the diversity that characterises the School and The Open University more widely, and provides the School with informed advice and appraisal from outside the University. The board also acts in an ambassadorial role for the School, providing input into the external promotion. The board serves as a bridge to those organisations and individuals who have an interest in the School and helps to increase external support for the School through development efforts with the objective of securing new funding.
