Major UK Professional Accountancy Bodies

The OU Business School’s Centre for Financial Management maintains continuing links with some of the major UK professional accountancy bodies to ensure that synergies between their examination programmes and our own are fully exploited and work to the advantage of our students. Successful completion of the Certificate in Accounting (B680) currently grants exemptions from some of the professional examinations of the following bodies: the Association of Certified Accountants; the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants; the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. Exemptions from the professional examinations of other accounting and financial institutions are also available on a case-by-case basis.
