Our foundation degrees provide you with an accessible and open entry route to a prestigious university degree. They combine learning in the workplace with a solid academic knowledge. You’ll gain important subject knowledge and develop your all-round capability, in particular in information and communication technologies (ICT), numeracy, study and thinking skills. You’ll develop and be motivated in your existing work role and also have opportunities to specialise in your studies.
If you have prior study of a vocational qualification at pre-higher education level this can count towards your foundation degree.
Our foundation degrees also offer employers a cost-effective staff development solution. They combine the practicality and relevance of workplace learning with the highest quality teaching material and learning support.
Don’t forget that you will continue working (and earning) while you study. Once you gain your degree, you’ll have a number of further study options open to you.
We offer two foundation degrees, both new for 2006:
Prospective students from the Armed Services (particularly RAF personnel) interested in studying either of these foundation degrees can find more information on the Royal Air Force Learning Forces website.
