Stewkley 2nds 52, OU 53-0; won. Points: OU 25, Stewkley 0.

Stewkley turned up with a very weak team, and once we'd quickly disposed of the openers there seemed little to follow. Tom and Keith did an excellent job of keeping things tight and taking wickets, ending with 3-15 and 4-13 respectively. Neil Benn, on debut, took 2-4 and Andy Bolton mopped up the last man with his second ball. A good all round performance in the field was followed by some very efficient batting from Nathan and Sim, ending the game at 4.30 - which was just as well considering the heat.

This has lifted us up the table, but we still need points in our last two matches. In fact, two wins could send us back up near the top, so let's look for the first of these this Saturday at Soulbury.
