CD Library

Conveniently situated just a few moments’ walk from the OU shop is the OU CD Library, offering thousands of CDs (and several hundred vinyl records) for loan to OU staff - including those in the Regions. CD Library members based off-campus can view or download our catalogue from the CD library website, choose the CDs they’d like to borrow and request/return them via the internal or regional post.

The CD Library includes a vast collection of blues, classical, folk, jazz, pop and world music recordings. New stock is added all the time to keep the collection right up-to-date and to meet the interests of members (and their families!). Suggestions for new purchases are always welcome!

Hundreds of staff have already discovered how much the CD library has to offer. If you never even knew it existed, why not come along and have a look?

You can find the CD Library on the first floor of Wilson C Block; roughly opposite the shop (follow the signs). It’s open from 1pm - 2pm, Wednesdays and Fridays (closed throughout August), at the heart of the campus or as close as the nearest post-tray in the regional offices. Or visit us online at our website below.

Membership costs just £10 a year, or £15 for a double ticket. For more information, visit the CD library in person on Wednesday and Friday from 1pm - 2pm, or contact Mike Batham Ext 53155
