How to install


Setting up the service is easy: simply follow the step-by-step instructions below, wait a few minutes until your computer nods off, and enjoy.

Computer requirements

The OU Life Screensaver has been designed for computers using Microsoft Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating systems, with a minimum display resolution of 1024x768 pixels.

Installation

Please note: If you are an OU member of staff and have come to this page you need to visit the staff pages


Ensure you are logged on to your PC as Administrator.

  1. Begin by downloading the screensaver
  2. Select ‘Run'
  3. Click ‘Setup’
  4. Read and ‘Accept’ the terms and conditions and click ‘Next’
  5. (If you use a Proxy Server to access the Internet, enter its details in the ‘Proxy Server Settings’ area)
  6. Click ‘Next’
  7. Enter your country
  8. Click ‘Next’ and then enter your 'State/Region', 'Year of Birth' and 'Gender'
  9. Click ‘Next’
  10. Choose Installation Directory. If you wish to install Oxigen to any other directory than C:\Program Files\Oxigen, click ‘Change’, enter the desired path and click ‘OK’.
  11. Click ‘Next’
  12. Click ‘Finish’ to complete the installation.
