OUSA Conference
OUSA Conference is a 3 day event which takes place once every two years at the Open University campus in Milton Keynes.
The most recent Conference took place over the weekend of 22nd – 24th June 2012. Over 600 students registered to attend Conference on campus and online, many of which were involved in electing a new officer team, participating in debates, attending presentations from key speakers and making friends with fellow students.
All registered Open University students are entitled to apply for one of the delegate places at either element of OUSA Conference. For those attending Conference on campus, accommodation, catering and reasonable travelling expenses are paid for by OUSA. Keep an eye on our Forums, or Facebook and Twitter to be the first to know when to apply for 2014.

- Influencing, Shaping and Responding to the future for our students. Presentation by Rajay Naik, Head of Government and External Affairs
- Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Tsunamis in the Media. Presentation by David Rothery, Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Science

- How can more effective communication within the OU Community be achieved? Presentation by Lucian Hudson, Director Communications
Day 3:
- OUSA President Address and Debate
- OUSA Question Time with David Knight, Director of Associate Lecturer Services; Josie Taylor, Director Institute of Educational Technology; Christina Lloyd, Director Teaching & Learning Support and Guy Mallison, Director of Strategy.
