Your Library

Exploring your online library

Your library is an online library, available 24/7. In it you will find all the resources you would expect to see in a physical library but you can access them all without leaving your favourite place of study. You told us that you like to study in cafes, in the garden on holiday or in bed so the online library really is wherever you are.

You can read an ebook, or scour journal articles, encyclopaedias, newspapers, law cases, statistics, videos, music and much, much more, whenever and wherever you are.

You can explore some of the resources we have picked as good starting points for you on the selected resources for your study page.

Introduction to Library Services

Meet librarian Helen Clough

You will find out more about the Library in your modules. If you’d like to explore further before you get started with study, take a look at Getting started with the online library or browse the bite-sized activities in Being Digital to learn new skills for working online.

Advice and guidance

Don’t forget, if you have any questions you can always contact the Library Helpdesk by phone, email or 24/7 webchat. Here are a few of the reasons why some of our team love the helpdesk so much!

We also host live chats on Facebook and over the next few weeks we are running some real-time online training sessions introducing the OU Library and we’d love to see you there.

There's also some useful information about the OU Library in these other videos...
