E C M Student Academic Links
Position Vacant
The Executive Committee Memmber for Student Academic Links is responsible for promoting the role of Student Acadmic Links in the Regions and Sub-Regions. The post holder is also responsible for, when relevant and in conjunction with other appropriate OUSA office holders, ensuring that academic based issues of significance to the whole faculty are representated at OUSA Executive Committee.
E C M Societies
Position Vacant
The Societies Standing Committee Representative is responsible for the promotion and development of activities by the affiliated Societies within the objectives of OUSA. The Societies' Representative is also responsible for liason between the Executive Committee, regional forums and the Societies Standing Committee on matters of concern to the affiliated Societies.
O U Council Member
Laura Murphy
The Student Member of the Open University Council is elected at Conference in alternate years to serve for two years and is automatically a member of the Executive Committee. This member has a particular responsibility for ensuring that the Excecutive Committee is kept fully up to date on decisions being taken by the University Council and informing them of important discussions at Council meetings.
