Yorkshire elections
Since our last newsletter the section 15 proposal discussed at our last meeting in August has been submitted and accepted. This means that things are changing in the Yorkshire region which will need your votes in January 2011.
Yorkshire Assembly and Executive
The Regional Committee will become a Regional Assembly with up to 26 Assembly Members and up to 5 Executive Members who will be responsible for the running of the region. These will all be voted for under a one member one vote system by every member of the Yorkshire region who is registered at the time of voting in January 2011. The E.C.M. for Yorkshire will also sit on the Assembly as an ex-officio member.
