Your profile — or online appearance settings — contains a range of information that you can choose to share with other OU computer users, such as your OU computer username (OUCU), your email address and personal summary. The visibility options that you set will control who can see your profile. For example, you can choose to share information with other students in your tutor group, all those studying your course or all those with access to OU computing services.
You will find your Profile tab on StudentHome.
When you participate in an online activity on your course website, such as a forum or a wiki, your name is displayed next to your contribution. Clicking on another participant's name will let you see their profile page if they have given permission.
