About the Learning & Teaching Office

The Learning and Teaching Office is part of the Strategy Unit which supports the development and maintenance of University policy and strategy. A principal function of the Office is to provide support for the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Learning, Teaching and Quality), and therefore much of the work of the Office relates to the PVC’s priorities and objectives. Activities and policy areas that the Learning and Teaching Office supports include:

  • the development, monitoring and maintenance of the University's Learning and Teaching Strategy.
  • the production and delivery of the University’s learning materials and resources.
  • the development and implementation of policy with respect to the use of ICT and new media in teaching and teaching support.
