Professional biography

Product Development Manager in Learning Innovation for Learning and Teaching Solutions at The Open University.

Through collaboration with internal and external partners, the Learning Innovations team offers a place to incubate new ideas. The team acts as a catalyst for promoting a culture of innovation, to transform teaching and learning practices, and enable learners to realise their study goals.

I have worked extensively on FutureLearn MOOCs, iTunesU and iTunes Course Manager, the OU's Moodle-based Virtual Learning Environment, the OU Anywhere App, and OpenLearn.

I have a particular interest in student engagement in the process of developing learning and teaching tools, platforms and activities; the enhancement of learning and teaching through technology; and the quantified self.
