Professional biography

My first degree was in English from the University of Sussex. I went on to do an MA in English with the OU which was awarded with distinction in 2014, followed by an AHRC-funded PhD which was awarded in 2018. I work as a secondary English teacher in south-east London.

Research interests

I am interested in the intersections between nineteenth-century literature and cultures of health.
