Professional biography

Current research interests centre on the links between the law of equity, psychoanalysis, literature and language drawing upon critical legal theories, philosophy and more traditional jurisprudence.  Research has engaged with and involved presentation of papers at domestic and international conferences; law and non-law journal publication; edited collection publication; academic/journalism publication via major online portals including The Conversation.

Further research interests include: the development of the law of equity as a core area of knowledge in legal education, and legal education more generally; social, political and economic critical theory; philosophy and psychology; literature, humanities and critical cultural theory; law and technology.

Development of Equity & Trusts Research Network in collaboration with Kent Law School.  Activities include: guest journal editorial, workshops, significant AHRC/ERSC grant to aid further development, conference stream and panel organization.
