Storm

(2000 - 2010)

A sweet lady whose stay with us was far too brief. She stole our hearts the moment we met her and she was a delight to be with.

At the age of ten, Storm came to us straight from kennels
where she'd spent her entire life - yet she settled in moments, into a warm, soft bed lapping up all the cuddles and fuss we could give her.

Sadly, our fears that Storm was very unwell were confirmed just 6 days after coming to live with us when she was put to sleep with acute kidney failure.
How unfair this life can be.

We'll always remember lovely Storm and wish she could have
stayed with us much much longer.

Fancy Wes

13.09.98 - 20.09.10

Wes

Wes came to us in November 2008 blind in the left eye through an ulcer which had not been treated. Although he was a big ponderous lad he had a lovely smooth gait when walking and certainly over the last few months absolutely loved his cuddles and walked off lead behind the pack.

How we miss him marching up and down when meals are being prepared and little Rosie always standing in the way.

Rosie of 18 years

R.I.P. 14.09.2010

Rosie

Rosie came to us in June 2009 as her mistress was no longer able to look after her. She was severely arthritic but quite feisty if there was a cat about or other canines invading her space.

Rosie was a lovely little old lady who quickly endeared herself to us in spite of her problems and we shall miss her lots.

We've had to say goodbye to Finn our dear, gorgeous greyhound boy. He was only seven and a half years old and had been treated so appallingly in his early years.

He was so special. The only race he ever ran was the race into our hearts. Be happy our Boy Wonder, see you at The Bridge.

Love you so much - Mum, Dad, sisters Hobo and Meg and of course Jester the cat.

(with us 6 Nov 2004 - 5 March 2010)
