Hi all,
My name is Dorota and I'm from Croydon.

Getting my financial funding last week was a great surprise for me and it made me want this degree even more! I'm very excited and a tiny bit scared as I've had a 12 years old gap in my studies but hope for the best and wish the best of luck for all of you guys.

Try Abe Books as well as Amazon. It's worth comparing prices on both and going for the cheapest. Postage is usually less on Abe, which can make a big difference.
I got all my books plus the DVD for £24.11 in the end.
I'm nearish to Halifax in West Yorkshire, about 1/3 of the way up from Manchester heading towards Leeds.
Jamie Hallam - Thu, 01/12/2011 - 23:34
Hi all,
I'm also hoping to get on the Feb 2012 course (funds permitting). Have completed Y180 and currently doing A182. I keep seeing a facebook page mentioned although I can't find it! Have been searching under AA100, AA100 Feb 2012 etc. to no avail. Does anyone have the link?
Cheers,

Hi everyone,
I am starting this in Feb 12 too.
I am 38 and am in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Anyone else local?

Ruth L - Mon, 19/12/2011 - 21:17
I'm signed up for Feb too, but as the course materials arrivedlast week I'm making an early start.
I was concerned that several of the subjects covered are things I know little about and/or that don't interest me, but for me it's the techniques of humanities study and the questions posed that are so intriguing.
Because the assessment process is so "bitty" it would be easy not to take the TMAs seriously. For example the 500 words on Cleopatra is only worth 5% of the overall score, but every bit counts.
I've already completed A217 Introducing Religions and A172 Start Writing Essays, aiming for a Humanties degree with Philosphy and Religious Studies.
Matt Davis - Mon, 19/12/2011 - 19:14
