Hey, I am completely new to the OU. I haven't been in any other education apart from secondary school. I love creative writing, i'm really excited to do the course ... just hoping anyone can tell me about their experiances?

I'm new too....starting with module Y180 of the Openings route (Access 2 Success) which will lead on to Q66 BA(Hons) Eng Lit (creative writing).

I'm really excited about beginning my journey....I have always wanted to study for a degree.

Hi

I am also starting (hopefully, once I've successfully conquered Student Finance!) in October - English Language and Literature is my chosen pathway.  I'm excited but, as a full time (and then some) working single mum, also nervous about the time constraints/demands.  I am however determined to see my, often pedantic, love of the English language through to a formal degree and then to proceed onto the School's Direct or PGCE programme.

Here's to us and success!

I'm also starting on an Access course in October (as long as I fill in all the funding forms ok) and then going on to do English Language and Literature. It's so good to know I'm not the only one nervous about starting, even though it will be exciting.

Let's hope we all enjoy it.
