Hey!

I am just starting the "writing what you know" course and look for fellow students who are interested in forming a peer review circle for our exercises.

Anyone?

Best,
Stefanie

Maybe, but I first need to find out how much time it actually takes -I might not have time left to do reviews! Is the course you are doing the Creative Writing one?

yes, i believe that writing what you know is an extract of A215, creative writing course

hello I have been working through bits of 'writing what you know' and starting A215 in october - I haven't studied for four years and i'm nervous about putting my rambling scribbles on line for all to see.....

I did A174 a few years ago and while it was a bit daunting sharing your work with others, I got some decent feedback and some usefull pointers which I'd never considered before. And just remember, you're all in the same boat. Good luck!

I'm confused.  I'm starting A215  in October but know nothing of 'writing what you know'.  Is it part of the course - if so, how do you know about it as I understand the course materials are not being sent out until September?

As scary at it sounds, I think I would be willing to join the peer review, but as I havent started the course yet (books just delivered) not sure when this becomes relevant in the course material.
