Hi Everyone,
I'm also starting this module in November - books have arrived and I'm looking forward to it.
Can anyone explain the difference between this forum and OUSA's student community forum?
If anyone wants to keep in touch on Twitter, I'm @mrsmpw.

Hi all,
I'm Maria, I haven't got my pack yet but know they have tried to deliver it! - I am really scared now looking at some of the comments, but I am sure it will be an amazing course, looking forward to it!
Has anyone actually started any work yet?? I have watched the DVD and read a little bit but just don't know where to start!! Thought I might wait to talk to my tutor first....
Mary I don't think there is any difference I just started this forum as i thought it would help us all if we had a familiar place to go too so we could chat or help one another.
Good luck all!!
I finally received my pack today, had a watch of the first part of the dvd and read through all of the information i.e. mainly the assignment booklets! - Am going to start with the book tonight i think, only so when the tutor rings I can actually have some questions for them!
Kerry I am with you, don't know where to start!
M
Mary,
I'm so glad i'm not the only one who doesn't know where to start!!
I believe we are meant to start with the chapters through the "making sense of the arts" book to begin with.....
I am so nervous but excited, I haven't studied English since I left school!!
Kerry :)
Right have made a start, doesn't seem as daunting as I first thought. Good luck to all!
Hi Maria,
My tutor phones me tomorrow night so then I'll really have started. I have made a start but wasn't sure how much to do. I'm sure all will be clear after speaking to him. So exciting. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction for this forum-I couldn't seem to access Platform for a while-not sure why. Feel part of it all again. What a superb bunch you all seem. Good luck to us all.
Well I've made a start through chapter one of the book!! Now onto creating my study guide....think I may need to I invest in a diary now :) I think this is going to be fun!!
I've started looking through the chapters too. Seems really interesting. Now I've got to knuckle down and do study schedule! Good luck to us all!

Hi all,
I have now reached chapter 2 in the book and am starting some rough workings on the first assignment and it's harder than I thought :(
I have had my first tutorial and my tutor is lovely and very helpful! This is going to be hard work but totally worth it :)
Good luck to us all!
My first tutorial is tomorrow. Hope it goes okay. Steadily ploughing through chapter 2. Some bits are harder than others
