Hi, I'm new to Open University, I am hoping to do B62- Computing and IT, but its been a long time since studying so i have opted in my path for an opening course first-Starting with Maths (Y182) which starts in March 2012. Then I hope to do My Digital Life which is a Level 1 course and hopefully if all goes well, take it from there.. Just wondering if anyone is doing Starting with Maths (Y182) on their planned route to doing B62- computing and IT (BSC)? Thanks :-)

I`m doing the My Digital Life module starting in Feb 2012 as my first module, and was thinking then to do the Discovering Maths/Using Maths module along with An Introduction to Business Module after, all along the route to B62, starting off the opposite way around to you but on the same journey! Cool good luck with the my digital life course, I'm not brave enough to start of With it as I'm a newbie and it's been a while since study. Hopefully I'm gonna start the my digital life in July 2012 if the first course goes ok. I plan to do the using maths and discovering maths at some stage too.
You`ll be grand, I know it`s a bit daunting but once you get into the swing of things you`ll be laughing, I haven`t done much study in years but still, looking forward to it. I haven`t done any study with Open Uni before so should be interesting! They have a group on facebook for the Digital Life module starting in Feb so you should look into seeing if they have one for your course too, could benefit you.
