Volcanoes: is an environmental crisis on its way?

In this video, the Open University's researcher in volcanoes Hazel Rymer explains why the Poás volcano in Costa Rica is her favourite, and how evidence from previous experiments there has led her to believe there may be an environmental crisis - similar to one in the 1990s - on it's way. Hazel has a new method for detecting changes in the areas around volcanoes which might aid early prediction of activity

If climate change is such a worry, why do governments bend rules?

If Climate Change is such a huge concern as we are told on governmental adverts, why are governments across Europe changing and bending their own rules – e.g. Manchester Airport’s new terminal to be built on Green Belt.
