OU's 40th anniversary
On 23 April 2009 The Open University celebrated its 40th anniversary, marking a significant milestone for the UK’s first university dedicated to open and distance learning. A year of celebrations was planned to highlight how the university has moved on since 1969 and you can find out more about that here.
