Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Lunch/

Lecture/London Walk. Meet at Embankment Station for 3

course Lunch with wine £13.65 plus free Lecture at the IET

Savoy Place, London. Afterwards a London Walk with City

of Westminster Guide (approx. £11.35). Lecture title to be

announced later. Choose all or individual events. This is a

combined event Handshake Event with Region 01.Please

advise Executive Representative if wishing to attendance in

regard to catering/walk/Lecture/Lunch, to allow bookings to

be made.

Members have requested a short walking tour of Letchworth

Garden City, the world’s first Garden City. Meet for coffee

inside the Arts Centre café. After the optional tour, walk

around the town centre, discover the thatched First Garden

City Heritage Museum, Broadway Gardens, the Letchworth

Museum and Art Gallery, Norton Common.

Coffee morning at The Peahen, 14 London Road, St. Albans.

for a get-together and to discuss future events, including the

AGM for 2014, which will be held in St. Albans at The Noke

by Thistle Hotel on 16th, 17th, 18th May.

great Italian lunch followed by a short walk to the Dickens’

Museum for an AOUG Foundation Day Special Event! Meet

up with fellow AOUG Region 01 members!

To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the AOUG, and to

increase numbers and reduce the costs, Regions 01 and 06

will be organising a joint River Thames boat trip to include

music/dancing/jazz band. OR a London Duck Tour with

Lunch/ or to include The London Eye. PLEASE would you let

me know what you would prefer, ASAP?! The day, date, time

will be announced later.
