I am a Creative Writing workshop tutor, I am looking to network with like minded individuals of a creative, open, fun loving nature.
I started off as an Adult Education volunteer support worker in 2006 helping a beginner readers group largely made up of learning disabled adults. I eventually progressed on to teaching via a few Adult Education courses and a PGCE (2008-2011) at the University of Hull, where I had originally graduated with a degree in English Literature in 2004.
I am a people person with an interest in everything from football to theatre, popular culture to painting canvases. I would love to work more widely with young people and make a difference in the wider community as although I am hard of hearing and short of stature I am not lacking a word or two; sometimes it is very difficult to silence me, unless you're a blond bloke in a suit.
www.blogger.com/troublesofatwentysomething is worth checking out, if you google 'Georgina Petty' you'll find my various rants, poems etc.
