Hey,

maybe, just maybe there's someone out there who writes and knows what it is like; someone who has studied at the OU and has experienced the valuable critique and encouragement of her/his study partner. With this group I hope to bring these potential writing partners together. Just drop in a word to say what you do and what you're looking for.

Best,

Gabriele

Looking for a buddy...

 Hi Everyone,

I would love to find a writing buddy. I have always wanted to write a book or two,

I currently have a few plans for writing but it's finding the time and push to do so that i really need. Ideally i need someone to help kick my butt in to gear and to throw ideas backwards and forwards between. I am more than willing to do the same and to give ideas or critiques if needed.

I am a mummy to sons, love crafting, fashion, style and reading and writing (although my spelling and punctuation is debatable)

I am going to be starting A215 (i think) Creative Writing in September. *yay*

Best Wishes,

Michelle x

Hello

I've just found this forum and thought I'd sign up as I'd like to find a writing partner. To tell you a little about me, I'm 34 years old and am studying for a BA (Hons) Humanities which I hope to complete by the end of next year.

My first course with the OU was the level 1 creative writing course which I really enjoyed, however I didn't feel confident enough to continue with creative writing at levels 2 & 3...something which I now regret.

I enjoy reading fantasy novels (Patrick Rothfuss is my idol), YA fiction especially distopian fiction or something with an LGBT theme. I haven't really started my own writing yet, my ideas seem to fizzle out quickly and that's part of the reason why I think it would be useful to find a writing partner.
