This group has been created for anyone studying TU100 - My Digital Life in February 2012. Like many of you this is the first course I will be studying with the OU and will be counting it towards a BSc in Computing & IT.
I thought it would be a useful place for everyone to discuss the course material and offer/ask for advice if needed. Because this course is part of a variety of qualifications the people studying it will have a varied skill set and will be able to assist others who find certain elements taxing. As I have already mentioned I am aiming for a BSc in Computing & IT. I already have a knowledge of computer programming which will help me when we start to use Sense & the Senseboard and I can hopefully help people in this area. Everyone will have something to contribute I am sure.
I for one have not studied for many years, and I have never studied anything in this way before. I am sure many of you are in the same position, as such, discussion of study techniques would be extremely welcome.
Please say a quick hello in the introduction thread.

I am just re-reading some of the study skills advice (http://www.open.ac.uk/skillsforstudy) and came across this bit of advice I thought was a very good idea.
"Write out the next assignment question - use it as a bookmark and keep it in front of you while you're reading"
