Hi all,
I thought I'd start a thread where we can introduce ourselves before the module begins in February. I'm Lesley and I'm starting both L185 and L140 (Intermediate Spanish) from February 2012. They'll be my first two modules towards a BA (Hons) in Modern Language Studies (Spanish & English). I'll be attempting to fit my studies in around running my own business and looking after my two children. I haven't studied since my A Levels 15 years ago so it's going to be an interesting time to say the least!

Hi Lesley and all who follow. I have just joined OU and have an accounting degree. I would like to concentrate on economics largely in this effort, however far it may go, and also satisfy some personal curiousity about the arts at level 1 by doing AA100 eventually also, and am doing L185 to help me get more out of these generally, having only studied in Ireland before, in case the standard of English is a lot higher. I am starting DB123, the personal finance course this November if my registration is accepted, which is still pending. I just applied for this today.

I will be joining you on the L185 in Feb 12. I will be doing that along with W100 at the same time, both going toward my BA Hons Law.
