I've got 2 young children, a full time job with a 24hr shift pattern, and my wife works long hours, so I'm a bit worried I've bitten off more than I can chew with this one. I think the tutors will earn there money with me, and hope I haven't just set fire to £820!

Hi Jon, I feel your pain. I will be out the house at 8am after getting my baby ready for the day, back at 6pm to feed, bath and put him to bed..and my husband works away all week so I am cooking and cleaning and doing it all alone! The tutors will earn their money with me too!! haha!! Are you in the Coventry area for tutorials?

Hi there, I'm Sarah, and I've signed up for the Starting with Law course now renumbered as Y186 due to start in June 2012. Law is something I've always been interested in and never been brave enough to put my toes in and test the water. I did an OU Openings course years ago and it was a good experience but very general. I promised myself I'd pick my education up again and at 45, figured if I don't do it soon I'll be retired before I get the chance to put it to practise.
I work full time in a public transport organisation and live in Letchworth Garden City. I'm looking forward to challenging myself, its a long time since I was a student, and a far cry from my everyday work now. If anyone will be on the same course group as me, it would be great to link up. If anyone's on here has any advice who has done the course it would be gratefully received.

Hello! I'm Matt. I currently work as an IT Engineer in Birmingham. I haven't studied towards any formal qualifications since 1994. I'm looking forward to starting Y186 in June.
My plan is that Y186 will get my mind working again before I sign up for W100.
