hi everyone, i am supposed to be starting the w100 course in february. I sent my loan application in ages ago and i have still heard nothing back fro mthem. I cannot complete my ou registration until the loan compnay send me my CRN number. I need to have registered by the 10th jan. Please help /i am panicking i wont be able to start my course in feb. I have rang the ou and they said just to wait it out but i just wondered if anyone had any suggestions thanks alex.
Hi. I phoned the student loan people for my CRN number and they gave it to me over the phone. I hope this helps and you haven't lost your place on the course.

The same thing happened to me.
You will need to phone the Student Loans Company to get hold of your number. OU are very helpful and flexible with this - if you ring the registration dept and let them know you are waiting to hear back they will register you and send the course materials as normal. They told me that they allow a month into the course starts before chasing payment.
Also, if you have ever had a loan from the Student Loans company before, your CRN number will be the same as you are only ever issued one per person.

I wish you have sent your application by online and not by post.you need to keep ringing them and take name and ref No when you ring them.there are different people and every one is different from other.i hope you will find a nice adviser soon.

The above comments are absolutely correct. Give the student loans people a call and ask for your CRN. At that point you can fill it in on your registration and leave the rest to the OU and the student loans people.
