Studying Law

Hello i am studying second year law and it is the best subject i have ever studied,it is very closley connected to History and Politics I hope this helps.

Hi mike, i have been studying law with the OU for the last 5 and a half years, and am close to completing the llb in english law this year. Law is indeed a challenging subject, more so through distance learning, but it is interesting, rewarding and worth considering if you have an interest in the subject or wish to pursue a career in the legal profession. I came to it with no experience whatsoever other than a desire to push myself beyond what i had ever thought i could do, and it has been a long and difficult haul, but one that i am glad i have undertaken. If you are interested, there is an open university law society through which you could reach others who are studying or have studied the OU law courses, including former students who have gone on to become practicing lawyers, Kind regards, Mike

 Thanks for the comments Marion and Mike, I think I have already made my mind up to take the plunge and I think it will be a tough but good decision in the end. I think the prestige of a Law degree is something that will always be with you, but until I get in the thick of it it seems a bit daunting. I would love to be successful and become a practicing lawyer, so much so I am online looking it up almost everyday! Good luck to you both in your remaining studies,

Good afternoon Mike, i am a new student to Law.

i am taking a starter course in september to judge whether or not law is the direction i really wish to follow,

i know it is only a basic formatt but i hope that it will give me a base to work with,  i would be most interested in your comments on your law degree and the challenge involved.
