Hi everyone,
I'm doing an BA Open degree. I need to start studying level 2 and I would like to do the Diploma in English Law for my level 2. For my level 1 study I did W100.
I wondered if anyone who has studied w200, could give me an insight to w200 and what their experience was like.
Thanks in advance,
Catherine.

Hello Catherine,
I also started with W100 and went on to W200. I have my W201 exam next week :/
Much of W200 was in W100 only in much less detail. Half of the course is an overview of the English legal system and briefly covers other fields of law which are in later courses. The second half is a fairly detailed look at EU law, and I found this part hard to get to grips with. That said, I did pass.
If you are starting with W100 and then W200 and W201 for the diploma, why not continue with W300 and W301 and get an LLB rather than an open degree? The LLB needn't be all law. Of you do W200,201,300 and 301, the rest of the points can come from any modules, not just law modules.
Lee.
Hi Lee,
Thank you for your feedback.
How did you find the W200 exam?
I thought the LLB was just for law degrees?
All the best and good luck with your exam!
Catherine.
