Cameron (pictured), from north Wales, displayed a gift for maths at an early age. He began studying with the OU at the age of 11 and has overcome difficulties due to his Asperger’s syndrome.
He featured in the BBC documentary The Growing Pains Of A Teenage Genius and is on a top 10 list of global modern child prodigies on Listverse.
Director of The Open University in Wales Rob Humphreys congratulated Cameron on a 'remarkable achievement'. "The flexible mode of study offered by The Open University means that students of all ages and circumstances can study with us to achieve their potential," he said.
"We’d also like to congratulate all the OU students who will have just received their degree results from us."
Cameron said: “I’m very happy about my degree. I’ve always enjoyed maths.”
