New course on the basics of Philosophy

Can I trust science? Should I obey laws I disagree with? Does God exist? Philosophers from Socrates to Rawls have offered radically diverging answers to these and other fundamental questions. Exploring Philosophy (A222) provides a platform for you to tackle them for yourself. This new 60-point course starts in October 2011. It replaces A211 Philosophy and the human situation.
